The Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, announced that more than 14.5 million citizens have left the country since the start of the Russian attacks in late February.
Lubinets said in a press statement, Thursday, that 11.7 million of those who left the country went to the European Union.
He added that 7.7 million Ukrainians have been registered as recipients of temporary protection services in Europe.
He pointed out that 4.7 million Ukrainians were forced into internal displacement due to the continuation of the war.

On February 24, Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine, which was followed by international rejection and economic sanctions on Moscow, which requires Kyiv to abandon plans to join military entities to end its operation, which the latter considers an “interference” in its sovereignty.
