3 people, including a police chief, were killed in a bomb attack in Badakhshan province, northeastern Afghanistan.
A spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior, Abdul Nafi Thakur, said in a press statement that the attack targeted the car of the police chief of Faizabad, the provincial capital.
He added that the attack resulted in the death of the aforementioned police chief and two other people, in addition to wounding two people.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
