Tikhov, a 28-year-old member of Migos and well-known American rapper, was shot dead in Texas on Tuesday morning.
Houston police announced the death of Tykov, and the injury of two other people, at a bowling alley in which he was staying with a member of his band on Monday evening.
Born as Kersnick Carrie Paul in a poor suburb of Atlanta, Tykov left an important musical legacy in hip-hop, especially in a new style that distinguished him and his feet, where 3 notes are played with one rhythm.
Migos became famous in 2013 with their song “Versace”, which was remixed by Canadian rapper Drake, and in 2016 the song “Bad and Boogie” topped the charts in the United States.
Before the shooting, Tykov posted on his Instagram account a selfie with the song Stop Breathing.
