Earlier, her album (Red) or “Red”, which was originally released in 2012, after she re-recorded and released it, won the Best Pop Album award. Swift, 32, is releasing new versions of her previous albums after a dispute with the record label she was dealing with at the time.
“I can’t express to you what the re-recorded albums mean to me, but I never expected or assumed they would mean anything to you,” Swift said.
In the Artist of the Year category, Swift was able to seize the title despite competition from famous names, including Beyoncé, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Drake, Adele and Bad Bunny.
