Azerbaijan handed over to Armenia the bodies of 13 soldiers who were killed in border clashes that broke out last September.
And the State Committee for Captive, Missing and Hostage Citizens of Azerbaijan announced, in a statement, on Monday, that the bodies had been handed over to Armenia through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
It indicated that the 13 corpses were found during search operations in the areas of clashes that took place on September 12-13, and were examined by employees of the Azerbaijani Military Prosecution Office and made sure that there were no signs of violence on them before handing them over.
Azerbaijan handed over the bodies of 127 military personnel to the Armenian side in September.

On September 12, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced the outbreak of intense border clashes as a result of provocations from the Armenian side.
She explained that sabotage groups of the Armenian forces planted mines in lands and roads between the positions of the Azerbaijani army, which led to the outbreak of clashes.
Azerbaijan announced the death of 80 of its soldiers in the clashes, while Armenia announced the death of 207 of its soldiers.
