Chinese and Indian soldiers were injured in “clashes” that took place last week on the border between the two countries, the Indian army said Monday.
The Indian army said in a statement that the clashes that erupted last Friday between the armies of the two countries resulted in “slight injuries to some soldiers from both sides,” according to the Associated Press.
The statement indicated that the forces of the two sides “dispersed immediately” after the clash that erupted in the “Tawang” area of the eastern state of “Arunachal Pradesh”, without giving further details.
There was no immediate comment from the Chinese side regarding the confrontations.
