On Tuesday, at least 100 people were killed in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as a result of floods caused by heavy rains.
Local media reported floods and landslides in Kinshasa, following two days of heavy rain.
The floods have killed at least 100 people as of Tuesday evening.
Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lokonde said search and rescue efforts were continuing.

The authorities in the country expressed their fears about the high number of deaths.
