According to media reports, explosions occurred in several regions of Ukraine on Monday, as local authorities sounded sirens warning of air strikes.
And the Ukrainian authorities urged its citizens to go to shelters to avoid the effects of the bombs, while officials in the cities of Kyiv and Poltava said that explosions were heard.
Dmytro Lunin, the governor of the Poltava province, wrote via Telegram: “Air defense is now operating in the Poltava province, take shelter in shelters.”
In turn, the Ukrainian parliamentarian Oleksiy Goncharenko confirmed, via Telegram, that there had been explosions in Kyiv.
