“It looks like the Russians have really retreated. And it really looks like the Ukrainians have just won an extraordinary victory when the only regional center that Russia captured in this war has returned to the Ukrainian flag,” he told reporters aboard the presidential plane on the way to the summit in Cambodia.

Sullivan also denied rumors that he had allegedly asked President Volodymyr Zelenskyi to show openness to peace talks with Moscow.
According to Biden’s adviser, in this war, Ukraine is on the side of peace, and Russia is on the side of war.
The US position on this issue remains unchanged, he added: if Ukraine stops fighting, there will be no Ukraine, and if Russia stops, there will be no war.
