The old International Football Association “FIFA” considered, on Tuesday, the unexpected victory of the Saudi national team over its Argentine counterpart, led by Lionel Messi, in the World Cup in Qatar, “the biggest shock in the history of the World Cup.”

The Al-Ittihad account concerned with the World Cup championship commented in a tweet on Twitter, saying: “Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina, one of the biggest shocks in the history of the FIFA World Cup.”

The Saudi national team scored two goals against its Argentine counterpart, who scored one goal during the match, with the foot of its historic scorer, Lionel Messi, in the tenth minute.

The Saudi team excelled thanks to two goals, the first scored by Saleh Al-Shehri in the forty-eighth minute, and the second scored by Salem Al-Dosari in the fifty-third minute.

It is noteworthy that Messi is known as the legend, and some consider him one of the greatest players in the history of football.

And yesterday, the French coach of the Saudi national team, Hervé Renard, said in a press conference, “Messi is a football legend, but he will not play alone, and we are here (in the World Cup) to contradict expectations.”
