British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said, Thursday, that his country’s government is considering imposing coronavirus restrictions on travelers coming from China.
Speaking to the British “Sky News” channel, Wallace indicated that he expected “to see some clarifications from the Ministry of Transport today or tomorrow.”
This came after countries such as the United States, Japan and Italy announced that they would impose new restrictions on people coming from China, including negative Corona tests.
Wallace said: “The government is considering implementing this step, it is under review, we have clearly noted what the United States has done, and I think Italy has considered the matter as well.”

The countries’ decisions came days after statements by the World Health Organization (WHO) expressing “concern” about reports indicating an increase in the number of HIV infections in China after easing restrictions to combat it within the framework of “zero corona” policies.
