Today, Thursday, the US Treasury announced the imposition of sanctions on 13 companies registered in different countries, which helped the Iranian oil sector to bypass the sanctions.
And the ministry published on its official website, Thursday: “The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury decided to impose sanctions on 13 companies from several countries, which facilitated the sales of Iranian petrochemical and petroleum products worth hundreds of millions of dollars to buyers in East Asia.
The statement added: “These companies worked on behalf of the Iranian petrochemical sales intermediaries included in the US embargo, which are the Gulf Company for the Commercial Petrochemical Industry, the “Trillance” Petrochemical Company, and the National Iranian Oil Company.
