Today, Wednesday, the Disciplinary Committee of the Spanish Football Federation officially confirmed the ban of Polish player Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona player, for three matches.
And it was decided that Lewandowski would be absent from the matches between Espanyol, Atletico Madrid and Real Betis, after the World Cup.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, the period of Lewandowski’s absence came because the referee of the Osasuna match wrote in his report that the former Bayern striker had indicated inappropriate signs expressing his rejection of the decision while leaving the stadium and again towards the fourth referee.
Lewandowski was sent off against Osasuna in the Spanish League after receiving two yellow cards in the first half.
Lewandowski tops the list of Beja’s top scorers so far, with 13 goals after 14 matches.
