Musk: Apple threatened to block Twitter from its store

Billionaire Twitter owner Elon Musk said, Monday, that Apple threatened to block the platform’s application from its App Store.

Musk said in a series of tweets, “Apple threatened to block Twitter from its App Store, but did not tell us why.”

“Apple has largely stopped advertising on Twitter,” he added.

He asked, “Do they hate freedom of speech in America? What’s going on, Tim Cook?”, referring to the CEO of Apple.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk did not provide any evidence to substantiate his allegations, nor did, as of Monday evening, any immediate response from Apple regarding Musk’s allegations.

Recently, the American billionaire, head of Tesla and SpaceX, completed the acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion.
