The US space agency “NASA” announced, on Sunday, the return of the unmanned Orion capsule as part of the “Artemis 1” mission from the moon, to conclude a 25-day test trip.
And NASA said, in a statement, that “the Orion capsule parachuted into the Pacific Ocean off Mexico, to conclude an exciting 25-day test flight,” according to the American “Associated Press”.
This mission paves the way for astronauts on the next trip to the moon of the same program, scheduled for 2024.
It is expected that the “Artemis 2” mission will transport astronauts to the moon without landing on it in 2024, while the first landing of a manned mission will be carried out by the “Artemis 3” crew in 2025 at the earliest.

On November 16, NASA launched a rocket towards the moon as part of the “Artemis 1” mission from Florida.
The rocket carried the unmanned capsule to the moon without landing on its surface, in the first such experiment in 50 years, when the Apollo program was launched.
