Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said Monday that the foreign ministers of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will discuss providing new military weapons to his country in their meetings on November 29-30 in the Romanian capital Bucharest.
“In the evening, I will go on an international business trip: first to Bucharest to attend the NATO Ministerial Council meeting,” Kuleba said in a video posted on his Facebook page.
“For the first time, the NATO meeting will be devoted to defense issues, including the provision of new weapons, ammunition and military equipment to Ukraine,” he added.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister indicated that the meeting will also discuss energy issues, explaining that “it has also become a weapon,” as he put it.

Kuleba said that on the sidelines of the NATO meeting, he will hold meetings with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, his American counterpart Anthony Blinken, and European Union foreign policy coordinator Josep Borrell.
He explained that he will travel later to the Polish city of Lodz to attend the meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on 1 and 2 December.
He said: “The meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will be held for the first time without a Russian minister, and this is true. He has nothing to do,” referring to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
He added, “They (the Russians) are only pretending to negotiate and diplomacy. But in reality, they made their choice, which was war.”
Earlier, Poland announced that it would not allow the Russian Foreign Minister to enter its territory to attend the meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
In a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry condemned Warsaw’s decision and considered it “provocative.”
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe is the largest regional cooperation organization, with 57 member states, including Russia.
