Brazilian national team coach Adenor Leonardo Bacchi “Tite” met with the Arab fan who helped his daughter carry his grandson to the metro station in Doha before the “Seleção”-Serbia match that took place last Monday.
Al-Kass channel published a video report about Titi’s meeting with the fan, who turned out to be a Palestinian national residing in Qatar, called Hussam Savarini.
Tite thanked Savarini for his noble work with his family and presented him with the national team shirt as a gift in return for the favor, at the Brazil training headquarters.

“This means a lot to me and is priceless,” Hossam Savarini said in the report.
Titi had expressed his admiration for Savarini’s behavior after the latter carried a child whose mother (Titi’s daughter) could not carry him because of his weight for a long distance on the road leading to the “Lucile” stadium, which hosted the opening confrontation of Brazil against Serbia, which ended with the victory of the samba dancers with two clean goals.
The Titi family filmed Savarini wearing the Palestinian flag on his shoulders and posted it on social media.
Tite took advantage of the press conference that preceded the Brazilian national team’s meeting with his Swiss counterpart to direct the talk about Hossam’s position.
He said, “Sport gives us beautiful and exceptional things from an educational point of view. My family was returning after the match in order to reach the metro.”
He added, “I have two grandsons who are somewhat heavy in size, and one of them was sleeping, and he is the heavier Loki, and at this time an Arab young man appeared and offered help. He took my grandson and carried him, I do not know how far the distance was, but I saw that really beautiful picture.”
He concluded, “I want to know this noble Arab man, because he showed us a sense of solidarity and humanity that goes beyond the boundaries of football.”
It is noteworthy that Brazil was able to defeat Switzerland in the second match of Group G and ensured qualification to the round of 16 of the World Cup Qatar 2022 before facing Cameroon.
