Rescue of 32 migrants who were pushed into Turkish waters by Greece

The Turkish authorities have rescued 32 irregular migrants who were forcibly pushed by Greek forces to the territorial waters of Turkey off the coast of Aydın Province (west).

The Turkish Coast Guard Command said in a statement on Thursday that it had received a report of the presence of migrants on a rubber boat off the coast of the Qosh Adasi area of Aydin.

The statement indicated that the leadership sent a team affiliated with it to the area to rescue 32 migrants on board the boat.

Investigations showed that Greek forces forcibly pushed the migrants into Turkish territorial waters.
