Three people were killed and another injured, Tuesday, when a natural gas pipeline exploded in Chuvashia, central Russia.
A statement issued by the Russian Emergencies Ministry stated that an explosion occurred on the Urengoy-Pomari-Ujgorod line, one of the important pipelines for natural gas exports to Europe.
The ministry added that the explosion killed 3 people and wounded a fourth.
It is noteworthy that the Urengoy-Pomari-Uzhgorod gas pipeline was established in 1983 to ship Russian gas to central and western Europe via Ukraine.
