Russia: NATO prolongs the war in Ukraine

The Russian presidency, the Kremlin, said on Thursday that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is prolonging the war in Ukraine.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a press conference that NATO is still imposing war on the Ukrainian government and sending weapons to it, and prefers to continue the war until the last Ukrainian.

He added, “Thus NATO is prolonging the war in Ukraine, which makes the situation more difficult for the Ukrainian administration.”

In another context, Peskov touched on the establishment by the European Union of a special court for Russia to try it for its actions in Ukraine, describing those efforts as “illegal”, and that his country would reject and condemn such a court.
