The Indonesian authorities announced, on Tuesday, that the death toll from the earthquake that struck West Java has risen to 268 and 1,083 injured.
The local disaster management agency of West Java province said in a statement that the death toll had risen from 252 to 268.
The statement added that 122 bodies have been identified, and 151 people are still missing.
He explained that the number of displaced people as a result of the earthquake reached 58,362 people, while the number of injured reached 1,083.
