This year it was Trap’s turn to dictate rules in Brazilian music. Rhythm is a subgenre of rap/hip-hop and emerged in 2000 in the southern United States. But here in Brazil, it has already entered the mix of local characteristics and exploded throughout the country.
To celebrate this moment of exaltation of this rhythm and these talents, the West Zone of Rio will host the 1st edition of the Trap Festival on November 13th.
The event will take place in the parking lot of Quadra da Mocidade, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Among the attractions are Poze, Orochi, Acoustic Poetry, Oruam, Borges, Tz da Coronel, Bielzin, Bin and others. Tickets are costing from 50$ (Arena Trap Festival) to 1,300$ (Camarote). The latest tickets can be purchased online or at official points of sale.
