The Ukrainian authorities have established “unconquerable points” to provide electricity, water and internet services in many Ukrainian cities and towns, after it was not possible to obtain these services as a result of the recent attacks carried out by Russian forces targeting, in particular, the vital energy infrastructure.

Ukraine launched the “Invincible Points” project due to the country’s energy problems, providing drinking water, hot drinks, medicine and children’s toys to civilians in need.

These points also provide heating and free internet, where people come to charge their phones and other electrical devices.

And the aforementioned points, after entering service in Dnipro, one of the largest cities in the country, became a solution for the population in this period with cold weather.

Since there is no telephone connection and internet service in the city, civilians come to these points and try to find out the latest developments in the war in the country.

Zlata Stryukova (31 years old), who came to a point inside a large tent in Dnipro, told Anadolu Agency that she had brought her 9-year-old daughter and her neighbor’s children to warm up, adding: “We charge phones and batteries here too.”

For his part, Sergey Takak, (43 years old), said that he came to a point that opened in another area to warm up with his wife, stressing the great importance of opening such points for citizens.

Since February 24, Russia has launched a military operation in Ukraine, which resulted in angry international reactions and the imposition of “tough” economic and financial sanctions on Moscow.
