Five people have been killed by Cyclone Mandus in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
On Sunday, local media reported that Cyclone Mandos hit the coast of Tamil Nadu.
The hurricane was accompanied by heavy rains that led to landslides, killing 5 people.
And confirmed that the hurricane caused damage to hundreds of homes, and the transfer of about 10 thousand people to shelters.

The hurricane’s speed reached 100 kilometers per hour, then it decreased to 55 kilometers to the “tropical depression” level, which is the category with a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour.
Educational activities are expected to be suspended in Tamil Nadu for a few days due to the cyclone.
