Ukraine announced, on Wednesday, that it had shot down 13 suicide marches in the capital, Kyiv.
“Thanks to the effective work of the Air Defense Forces and electronic warfare units, 13 kamikaze suicide drones were destroyed,” Serhiy Popko, head of the military administration of the city of Kyiv, said in a post on Telegram.
Earlier Wednesday, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced, in a post on Telegram, that explosions had occurred in the central district of the capital, according to the Associated Press.
The city administration said on its Telegram channel that “shrapnel from a drone damaged two administrative buildings in the Shevchenkivsky district, in the center of the capital.”

Recently, the energy infrastructure in Ukraine was subjected to Russian missile attacks, but Moscow says that it targets “military, not civilian” infrastructure.
On February 24, Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine, which was followed by angry international reactions and the imposition of “tough” economic and financial sanctions on Moscow.
