Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced, on Saturday, that power outages will continue in a number of cities as a result of damage to the energy infrastructure due to the Russian attacks, pointing out that the capital, Kyiv, suffered the greatest losses.

Zelensky said, on Telegram, that the missile strikes of the Russian army, on Friday, destroyed many parts of the electricity transmission lines in Ukraine.

He added that there are problems in the delivery of water and electricity services in several areas, describing the situation in Kyiv as very dangerous.

Zelensky said that his country expects more help from partners in the region by providing air defense systems that make “the main form of Russian terrorism impossible.”
