Hours before the start of the Moroccan national team’s match against its Spanish counterpart, Moroccan citizens began to buy the country’s flag, scarves and national team shirts, in order to encourage the Atlas Lions in the round of 16 match in the World Cup in Qatar.
The Anatolia correspondent stated that the sides of the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca and a number of the city’s markets witnessed a remarkable turnout of Moroccan youth selling Moroccan shirts and scarves.
Vendors also displayed shirts and banners in the Darb Sultan area, which is considered the stronghold of footballers and fans of the popular game in Casablanca.
The same thing was observed in the streets of the capital, Rabat, and the city of Kenitra, in the north of the country.

On Tuesday, the eyes of Morocco and the Arab world will turn to the “Education City” stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, where the Atlas Lions will face Spain in the World Cup final price match.
Morocco qualified for the second round after leading its group, which is the second time in the history of its participation in the world championship, as it had previously achieved this achievement in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico as the first Arab team to reach this role, before Algeria was able to repeat the achievement after 28 years in Brazil 2014.
